Wayfinder is for a threshold: when one chapter of your career or life is closing and the next has not yet taken shape. Curated to help you find clarity in the uncertainty, and confidence in your direction.

Who This Is For

You will recognise yourself. Or you won't, and that's useful too.

Wayfinder is for you if

  • You are ten or more years into a serious career and something has shifted: a promotion that changed the job, an exit you are quietly planning, a leave you are considering, a role you have outgrown, or a life event that made "if not now, when?" a daily question.
  • You have done the obvious things. Therapy, the reading, a mentor, a holiday. They helped. They did not answer the question of direction.
  • You want peers who are in it too, not an audience.
  • You are willing to be honest in a small room, and to hold what others say in confidence.

It is not for you if

  • You want a five-day high and nothing after. The immersion is one week inside a six-month structure.
  • You are in acute crisis. Wayfinder is coaching, not treatment, and we will tell you honestly if we think you need something else first.
  • You want to be told the answer. We hold the process; you author the decision.
  • You are looking for a network to sell to. Nobody is recruited, and referral is by choice.
Why We Built It

The room we wish we'd had.

We built Wayfinder because many senior professionals handle big transitions in their life & career alone, at 3am, with no map and no one to share with. Success gives us everything except a room where we can say "I don't know what's next" out loud. We've lived it, and now we hold space for it.

The Immersion · The Deerstone

A valley for long walks. A room for honest conversation.

Our five nights together are hosted at The Deerstone, a private eco sanctuary in Glendalough, County Wicklow, about an hour from Dublin. Ancient woodland, two lakes and the mountains of Wicklow on one side; a circular roundhouse built for gathering on the other. It was chosen for privacy, direct flights into Dublin, and the quality of quiet.

Your Coaches

Two coaches who have navigated these waters.

Zamir Janmohamed

CEO & Founder · Coach & Facilitator

Zamir built his career across Nairobi, New York, London and Toronto, much of it in global tech. As a certified coach he works with leaders at pivotal transitions, in a practice rooted in science that connects mind, body, heart and, for those open to it, soul.

Rahim Moosa

Partner & CCO · Executive Coach & Facilitator

Rahim spent his career as a senior leader across global finance, consulting and technology before becoming a trusted coach to executives. He knows what the seat gives, what it demands, and what happens when achievement alone is no longer enough.

Both coaches are certified and work to the ICF code of ethics. Our methods draw on transition psychology, narrative identity research and evidence-based practices for regulation, sleep and movement. Some participants bring a spiritual frame, some bring none, and both are welcome. Every practice is optional.

"What comes next, and who am I becoming?"
Everyone we interviewed asked it.
Almost none had said it out loud.

How to Apply

Four steps, and a real conversation in the middle.

Apply

A short application, one question at a time: where you are, what is ending, and whether the timing works. It saves as you go.

About 10 minutes

Discuss

A 30-minute conversation with Zamir or Rahim. It is where fit is decided, together, never from the form alone.

Within 7 days

Decision

We share our honest view. If Wayfinder is not the right fit, we will say so and point you to what might be.

Confirm and Discover

You sign the program agreement and pay a deposit to hold your seat. You'll then complete a deeper discovery profile, the first piece of the work, which shapes your first sessions and your peer group.

Questions

The things people ask before they apply.

Is this about career, or about life?
Both, because at a threshold they stop being separate. A promotion changes your marriage. A leave changes your identity. Wayfinder is organised around the transition itself: what is ending, the uncertain middle, and what you are choosing to begin. Your career is usually where it shows up first. It is rarely where it ends.
What does the application ask, and who reads it?
The application takes about 10 minutes. It asks where you are, what is ending, why now, and whether the commitments and dates work for you. There are no trick questions and no right answers. Once your seat is confirmed, a deeper discovery profile follows: about 30 to 40 minutes on the whole of your life, which we read before your first private session. Only Zamir and Rahim read either one. They are never shared, and we delete them on request.
How much time will it take?
Outside the immersion, about three to four hours a month: one or two private coaching sessions, one cohort session in most months, and a peer group you schedule yourselves. The immersion is five nights, Sunday dinner to Friday breakfast. That is the full ask.
Why five nights? Two would be easier.
Because the first two days are spent arriving. Senior professionals need time for the nervous system to settle before real thinking is possible, and time for twelve strangers to become a group you can be honest with. The depth of those peer relationships is what carries the next four months. It cannot be built in a weekend.
Where is The Deerstone, and how do I get there?
The Deerstone is in Glendalough, County Wicklow, about an hour south of Dublin. Fly into Dublin Airport and we take care of the rest: return transfers run at scheduled times on arrival and departure day. You book your own flights, and we will share the transfer times well in advance so you can plan around them.
Who will be in the room?
Twelve people, by application. Senior professionals ten or more years into their careers, mixed by industry, gender and geography, each at a real threshold. We curate for diversity of experience and a shared willingness to be honest. If we do not think the cohort is right for you, we will say so before you commit.
Is this therapy? A seminar? One of those programs where I have to recruit people?
None of those. It is coaching in a small, private cohort, delivered by two certified coaches working to the ICF code of ethics. Nobody is ever asked to bring in a friend. One gesture exists, and we would rather say it plainly: if someone from your network joins the program, the additional fee for twelve sessions is waived as a thank you. Referral is always by choice.
How much of this is "woo"?
As much as you want and no more. Our core methods have published evidence behind them: transition psychology, narrative identity, goal-focused coaching, breath-based regulation, time in nature, sleep and movement. Some participants bring a spiritual frame and some do not; both are welcome. Every practice is optional, and we will always tell you what it is for.
What happens after the retreat high wears off?
That is what the other five months are for. Immersions produce insight; habits are built in the weeks after, with structure and people who hold you to it. The peer groups, cohort sessions and private coaching exist because a week away, on its own, changes very little.
Is it confidential?
Completely. What is said in the cohort stays in the cohort. Both coaches are bound by professional confidentiality, and every participant agrees to the same in writing. If your employer funds your seat, they learn that you enrolled and nothing more, unless you choose otherwise.
How will I know it worked?
Your outcomes are set in month one, in your words, and reviewed mid-way. Examples: a decision made and acted on, a leave or exit designed and begun, a new role stepped into, relationships repaired, or a life shaped to be more true to you. Success is contextual to you. We guide the process; you still do the work.
What if I apply and it isn't the right fit?
Then we will tell you honestly, usually on the call, and point you towards what might serve you better. Applying carries no obligation on either side.
